Q. who is moving to the Sunshine coast?
A. 30 to 40 percent of our newcomers are retired. They are made very welcome here, and seniors can find a lot to do in all of our coastal communities. There are also many young families moving to our area, they are finding work providing services to our many senior citizens and also in the many businesses and stores in the area. There is also over 600 people who find living on the coast and commuting to their jobs in Vancouver easy and enjoyable. With the Sunshine coast being a bedroom community of Vancouver, and with the prices less than half of town many people are buying for investment, lifestyle change, recreation, retirement or buying a new business.
